MEET JOE
Art meets tech.
A career shaped by design, galleries, and technology.
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and technology. Early on, I worked as a Senior Marketing Designer at Random House, where I devised national campaigns for bestselling authors like Bill Bryson, Catherine Cookson, Danielle Steel, and Ben Elton. That experience taught me how to combine compelling narratives with bold visual strategies to connect with audiences on a large scale.
From there, I joined Interbrand, one of the world’s leading branding agencies. At Interbrand, I worked on major rebrands for Marks & Spencer and Barclays Bank, and I played a role in shaping the brand identity for Ocado. These projects deepened my understanding of how strong, consistent design can transform organisations and define how they are experienced by the world.
Later, I opened and ran Cabin Gallery in London, which I directed for 14 years. During that time, I supported countless artists, curators, and collectors while showcasing international contemporary art. It was here that I first encountered Artlogic in its infancy—and quickly realised its potential to revolutionise the way the art world manages, presents, and shares information.
Today, I bring together those decades of experience as both a creative professional and a gallery director. I balance my own art practice in East London with a part-time role at one of the world’s leading tech companies, while working with galleries, artists, and collectors to make the most of Artlogic’s powerful tools. My work is about making technology feel seamless—helping clients save time, stay organised, and showcase art beautifully online.
At the heart of everything I do is a belief that art and technology shouldn’t feel at odds. My role is to bridge that gap—translating complex systems into tools that empower, rather than overwhelm. Whether I’m sculpting in my studio or guiding a gallery through a major data migration, I’m motivated by the same idea: that good design and clear thinking can make even the most challenging tasks feel effortless.
